Troy Williams, 48, died Thursday, April 8 at his Oakdale home.

He was born and raised in Fremont. He lived in Oakdale for five years.

Mr. Williams graduated from American High School in Fremont in 1980. He attended Ohlone College and earned a degree in Criminal Justice and Computer Programming. He later attended a private college, majoring in Computer Science and graduated at the top of his class with honors.

He had a passion for knowledge and computers, which led him to a successful amusement device business. He was the family historian and frequently had a camera in his hand.

He was a gentle soul with a big heart and will be missed. He had a beloved pet dog, Buddy.

Survivors include his parents, Gary Williams and Lorri Williams of Oakdale; sister, Tracy (Ron) Williams Weatheral of Oakdale; niece, Madison Weatheral of Oakdale; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and best friend, Ronald Gayhardt of Fremont.
