Sharon Lee McCormick passed away January 23, 2018 in Oakdale, CA. Sharon was born March 17, 1950 in San Francisco, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth McCormick and Donnie McCormick and her beloved dog Stella. Sharon was a teamster. She drove for UPS, Home Depot, and Tri Valley for over 25 years. Sharon attended OHS and graduated in 1968. She lived part of her life in the bay area, and after retiring, she settled back in Oakdale.
Sharon loved nature and the outdoors. She and Stella could be found at the Woodward reservoir on any nice day. She loved camping, fishing, and rafting. Sharon also loved the Grand National Rodeo at the Cow Palace every year. Sharon was an avid rock collector.
Sharon is survived by her sister, Hylee Griffith (James); niece, and nephews, cousins, and many friends. A celebration of life will be held on her birthday March 17, 2018 at River Paradise Mobile Estates in Oakdale, CA from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
