Norman L. Oatfield, 76, died Friday, March 26 at Oak Valley Care Center.

He was a native of Oregon. He lived in Oakdale 10 years.

Mr. Oatfield served in the U.S. Navy.

He was an electrician for 30 years.

He is survived by his children, Patty Mayfield of Oakdale, Garritt Oatfield of Washington, E. Larry Oatfield of San Francisco, and Karen Conway of Kansas; sisters, Cathy Dorson and Georgia Hale, both of Oregon; and seven grandchildren.

Private services and burial at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella.
