In honor of our Mothers passing. Mildred Bernice Robinson, 93, formerly of Oakdale, CA and Ozark, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2017. She was a cherished soul devoting her life as a partner, friend, and mentor to many she came in contact with throughout her beautiful life. Millie was born January 27, 1924 in Mariahville, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and five sisters. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Robinson of Long Pine, Nebraska in 1969 and again by her husband and partner of 38 years, Robert “Bob” “Cloe” Carpenter of Ozark, AR. Spending most of their years together between Oakdale, Ca and the Ozarks, eventually retiring in Ozark, AR. Millie was a talented musician and songwriter, going by the stage name of Millie Robb.
Millie is survived by her six children, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. And a great number of friends who stayed close to Mom, some for nearly 60 years of her life. We will all miss her divine presence.
