Mary Lavina Cosgrove, 76, died Sunday, July 11.She was a native of Bakersfield. She lived in Modesto 17 years prior to moving to Oakdale eight months ago.Mrs. Cosgrove was a homemaker.She is survived by her children, Diane Veldstra of Riverbank, Jim Cosgrove of Mi Wuk Village, JoAnn Cowdrey of Modesto, Margie Green of Oakdale, Ed Cosgrove of Modesto; sisters, Norma Sullivan of Clements and Leana Ginotti of Mi Wuk Village; mother, Tressie Elliott of Clements; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 16 at Riverbank Memorial Chapel.
