Kaye Jo (Reed) McCullough, 71, died Tuesday, March 23 in Hughson.

She was born in Fayetteville Arkansas. She was raised in Riverbank and graduated from Oakdale High School.

Ms. McCullough worked in Riverbank at the Taxi Lunch as a waitress and greatly enjoyed it.

Her children and grandchildren were her life’s joy. She loved country music and dancing. Bingo was her game and she was known as the “dobber queen.”

She will be missed by family and friends from California to Arkansas. She brought much joy to all.

She is survived by her daughters, Kay Jo Anderson and Jackie New, both of Modesto, Kelley Mayfield of Escalon; sons, Edmund Mayfield and Leo Mayfield, both of Silver Springs, NV; sister, Etta Pitts of Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Mayfield; mother, Josie Maynard; father, Edmund Reed; sister, Carolyn Humphries; and brother, George Reed.

A memorial service was held March 27 at Trinity Church, Escalon.
