Kathleen Marie Lemons (Barnes), age 66, passed away Friday, August 16th, 2019. She was a long time resident of Oakdale and a graduate of Oakdale High School, class of 1971. Kathy married her high school sweetheart, David Lemons later that year. She was a stay at home mom who raised three girls and enjoyed playing cards with her family and puzzles of all kinds.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Lemons, sister Nancy Griffin, mother Ethel Rush and brothers Bobby and Michael Barnes. She is survived by her daughters, Tina Walts and husband Mark, Theresa Ball and husband Richie and Annie Lemons; five grandchildren, Michael Lemons, Rochelle Ball, Matthew Walts, Tianna Walts and Willow Walts; brothers Richard, David and Steven Barnes; sisters Mary Howell and Linda Barnes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at Sierra Baptist Church in Oakdale. The family would like to express our thanks to the great help and care given by Optimal Hospice in Modesto.
