Joyce Manker Cooper, a resident of Oakdale since 1964, passed away on Friday, March 23, at the age of 90, after a brief illness.She is preceded in death by her parents, Estel and Leola Manker. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ernest; her three children, Kay Parisot, Mike (Patti) Cooper, and Steve (Valerie) Cooper; nine grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.Joyce was born August 6, 1927 and spent her early years in Wilmington, Ohio. After high school she attended Michigan State College and graduated from USC. She taught elementary school for 33 years, and her last 24 years teaching in Oakdale.
