Helen Gerber Gellerman, 94, died Saturday, June 5.

She was born in Redding to Joseph and Kathrine (Schmidt) Gerber.

She was married to Herbert Gellerman in 1937. They moved from California to Oregon 17 years ago.

Mrs. Gellerman was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and she loved serving her church family. She dedicated herself to her husband, family, and friends.

She enjoyed being in the kitchen the most, cooking and baking for everyone. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, needlepoint, and embroidering gifts for the family.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Pat) Gellerman, Bruce (Bonnie) Gellerman of Oakdale, Joan (Gellerman) Anderson; brother, Joe Gerber; grandchildren, Linda, Lorrie, Jeff, Heidi, Holly, Brandon, Eric, and Heather; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 72 years, Herbert Gellerman; her parents; and brother, Walter Gerber.

Funeral services were held June 11 at Taylor’s Family Chapel.
