Gary Lee Patton, 67, formerly of Oakdale died Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Memorial Medical Center, Modesto.

He lived in Oakdale during his younger years and graduated from Oakdale schools. In his later years, he moved to Modesto. He could be seen frequently making the trip to Oakdale for the Friday night football games, which he greatly enjoyed.

He is survived by his mother, Audrey Dykstra; sister, Twila Friberg; stepbrother, Bill (Kelly) Dykstra.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Oakdale.
