Eva Arlene Quesenberry Futch graduated to glory May 13, 2016. Eva was born in Modesto on July 29, 1926 to John William Price Quesenberry and Carrie Alice Ousterhout Quesenberry. Eva attended Washington Grammar (K-4) Waterford Grammar (5-8). Eva graduated from Oakdale High School in 1944, going on to graduate from Modesto JC in 1948. Eva met and married Leo Futch July 11, 1948 and went on to have four boys. They spent many happy years in Monterey and Pebble Beach before returning to their hometown of Oakdale. Eva was a great volunteer in Oakdale. She worked for the blood bank, hospital, and she especially loved community sharing. Eva’s greatest gift was the hand tied quilts she made for family, friends, and various charities, always with love sewn in.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband Leo and her brother Frank Quesenberry. Eva leaves behind her four sons, Greg and Sue Futch (Sebastipol), Mark and Sherry Futch (Salinas), Paul and Cindy Futch (Santa Cruz), and Jim and Donna Futch (Waterford). Ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Eva’s life was full and blessed and she will be missed by them all. Graveside service for family and friends to be held at Lakewood Memorial Park - Restland Garden in Hughson, CA on Friday May 20, 2016 at 11 a.m.
Reception to follow at Community Baptist Church, 328 D Street, Waterford, CA.
