A shining light has descended to a brighter realm.

Donald Ray Hector of Anchorage, Alaska passed away on January 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Born on November 3, 1950 to Cecil and Belle Hector, he is survived by his wife Cindy, sisters Linda (Pete Hernandez) of Oakdale, CA, Sharon (Gary Avant) of Lancaster, CA; four children: Chastity, Donnie Jr. (Stephanie), Adam of Oakdale, CA and Ceciley (Rick Villarreal) of Hawaii; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donnie’s passion for fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and canning will continue to inspire his family and friends who will deeply miss him.
