Delfin Lopez, 80, died Sunday, Jan. 20 of natural causes in his home.

He was born in Gallup, NM.

He was a resident of Oakdale for 62 years.

Mr. Lopez was a veteran. He was a supervisor at Hunt’s foods.

He belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Lopez; children, Pete Valencia, Christine Dahm, Vera Northcutt, Ramona Lemons; siblings, Clara Baca, Leo Baca; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Harry Valencia.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28 at 1111 E A Street, Oakdale, with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Place of interment will be Oakdale Citizens Cemetery, 701 E. J Street.
