Bobbie Jewel Kumle, 81, died Saturday, June 27 in Wimberely, TX.
She grew up in Oakdale and married Kermit Kumle in 1944, after three weeks of courtship.
She is survived by her children, Winona McGarvey of Oakdale, Jeff Kumle of Wimberely, TX, and Keith Kumle of Oakdale; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Kermit Kumle.
No services are planned. Instead, her ashes will be taken, along with her husband’s, to Keystone Cemetery in Northern California and scattered together as they requested.
