Beverly Jean Holman, 94, of Oakdale, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born in Modesto on September 15, 1930, Beverly lived a long, beautiful life centered around family, faith, and service. A proud “daddy’s girl,” she carried his love and influence with her always. Beverly was a devoted wife of 67 years, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She held early jobs at the Maze Ranch and E&J Gallo, later working with her family at Holman Scales. Beverly also volunteered with the American Cancer Society, driving patients to their appointments with warmth and compassion.
Beverly found joy in travel, homemaking, holiday traditions, and time spent with loved ones. Her home was always open, filled with love, good food, and the comfort of family. She was known for her kindness, her legendary cooking, and her deep love for animals – especially dogs and hummingbirds.
She is survived by her two sons, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held in Oakdale.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Community Hospice in Hughson.
