On the morning of Monday, June 13, 2022, Anthony John Bernal Jr. passed away in his sleep due to a heart attack. He was 52 years old.

Anthony was an Oakdale born resident for most of his life. He was born to his father Anthony John Bernal Sr. and his mother Mary Sue Doran Bernal. He is preceded in death by his sister Renee and mother Mary, and leaves behind his brother Brian and father Anthony.

Anthony was an avid outdoorsman. His love for hunting and fishing were passions that he enjoyed throughout his whole life.

Anthony is survived by his three children, Justin Bernal, Brandon Bernal, and Kayla Bernal. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren who will miss him dearly.

A viewing will be held at Oakdale Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 24 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
