Ann Marie Simpson, 82, died Sunday, July 17 at Memorial Medical Center, Modesto.
She was a native San Francisco and was a resident of Oakdale for 17 years.
Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker for 62 years.
She is survived by her son, Alvin Meier of San Jose; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Fremont Simpson in 2005.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine.
