Despite no longer officially being referred to as a Farmers Market, the Riverbank Downtown Market this year did, in fact, feature a grower and her produce each week of its six-week run. Set up on Santa Fe Street, between Third and Fourth, the fruit stand could be seen — and purchased from — on the day of the market, each Tuesday. The event concluded for the year on June 13. Entertainment was also a staple and local musician Kenny Moore helped finish off the last of the sessions of the weekly market event. Starting in May, vendors of art items, clothing and, of course, different kinds of food had their wares up for sale as part of the market.
