ucce

You can learn how to grow a vegetable garden this fall, with the assistance of the UCCE, University of California Cooperative Extension, Master Gardeners.

The programs with the gardeners are being hosted at a number of Stanislaus County Library locations throughout the month of August. The Oakdale Library at 151 S. First Ave., Oakdale, will host the program on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m.

Everyone in attendance will also get a free seed packet, in addition to tips and instruction on the best way to grow your vegetable garden.

Other area libraries that will offer the program include Hughson on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 2 p.m.; and Waterford on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 2 p.m.
