Hello All! I hope each of you are well and enjoying this beautiful day.

This week I would like to share with you information on our Valley Home National Night Out. It will take place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 and be held at our Valley Home community park. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. We will be joined by our senior citizens who will be handing out ice cream to all. We are looking forward to having our Stanislaus County Supervisor Buck Condit with us. We also look forward to having our Stanislaus County Public Works, our CHP, our Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, and our Fire Department with us. It’s going to be a very special evening in Valley Home. National Night Out is an important night all across our country. It is held on the first Tuesday in August of each year … it is held in many towns across our great country. It is a night for us to come out of our homes to meet and greet our neighbors; to get to know them and say hello. We hope you will all come. Please take the time out of your busy schedules to come visit and get to know your neighbors. It’s important that we all work together to keep our Valley Home community the safe and peaceful place it has always been. Our National Night Out organizer this year is Oakdale High School student Alicia Osmundson. Alicia has also organized a small car show for your enjoyment. The show has limited spaces … if you would like to enter a car, please contact Alicia at 209-764-8879 right away. The evening will start at 6:30pm. Again this year we are asked, each of us, to bring a favorite potluck dish to share. Frosty cold drinks, dinner rolls, silverware, and plates will be provided. Once again, our community will receive the blessing over our dinner from Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Lieutenant and Minister Brock Condit. This year, our Valley Home School will be having their Back to School Night also on this night. We are very thankful to Alicia for organizing this very special night for our community. We appreciate her hard work. We look forward to seeing each of you on Tuesday, August 5th at 6:30pm.
