Hi everyone. I hope you all are enjoying our beautiful autumn weather. Our fall season is going to be really pretty.

Once again, I ask that if it’s possible for you to help support in some way 14-year-old Jett Trunnell please, please do. Jett is battling a hard battle with Osteosarcoma, a very aggressive cancer. Jett should be enjoying good times with his friends right now as a freshman at Oakdale High School. Instead, this year he is in this extremely hard battle that no child should have to go through. We can help Jett, we can make his life a bit better, we can make his hard days a bit better. One of the things we can do is to make sure his loved ones are able to get back and forth to his doctors and the hospital. We can make sure Jett has what he needs. I hope you will all consider either donating directly to Jett or consider purchasing a delicious tri tip dinner from our Valley Home School Harvest Festival. The tri tip dinner is $25. It comes with a country roll, garden salad and old time Valley Home beans. Please order and prepay by calling or texting Winnie at 209-985-5233 before October 20th. All proceeds go immediately to Jett to help with his needs and those of his family. Your support is very much needed and greatly appreciated. Together we can find ways to keep supporting this amazing young man as he battles so hard.
Our Fall Harvest Festival is on Saturday, October 25th from 6:30pm until 9pm at Valley Home School. Tri tip dinners can be picked up starting at 6:30pm at “Jett’s Dinner Booth” located near the First Responders area.
Eat your dinner at the Festival or carry out. If you need your dinner brought out to your car, please let me know. I will arrange for it to be delivered to your car. Thank you to our Oakdale Fire Protection Board for all your help in making this dinner happen … you are greatly appreciated.
