Hi everyone, I hope you are each having a very good day.

I would like to say “Thank You” to each of you who have ordered a Tri Tip Meal Dinner to support Jett Trunnell, our local 14-year-old who is battling a very aggressive cancer. We will be having a BBQ Tri Tip Dinner at our Fall Harvest Festival at Valley Home School and all proceeds go to Jett. Dinners are $25 each and need to be pre-ordered and pre-paid before October 20th. To order and pre-pay for dinners, please call or text me, Winnie, at 209-985-5233. The meal consists of a hearty helping of delicious tri tip, a country roll, garden salad and Valley Home ‘old tyme’ cowboy beans. Dinner serves one. Dinners may be picked up starting at 6:30pm at “Jett’s Dinner Booth.”
Our Fall Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, October 25th from 6:30pm until 9pm at Valley Home School. Come one, come all.
We will have something for everyone. Come enjoy games, cowboy roping, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, Bingo, delicious food in the inside Harvest Kitchen, bid on class baskets and wonderful silent auction items, meet our amazing first responders, enjoy locally grown honey, and see beautiful woodworks by Amanda. Grab a treat from the Sweet Shoppe, or indulge in cotton candy, sno cones, popcorn … enjoy hot chocolate or hot coffee; visit with family and friends while listening to live music under the stars. It’s going to be a really special evening together. For those looking for adventure, the Haunted Hay Ride will start rolling at 7:30pm.
Don’t forget our fun contests: Decorated pumpkins, carved pumpkins, and scarecrow contest.
Each of these, pumpkins and scarecrows, must be created and be brought from home and delivered to the onsite Pumpkin Patch.
Please be sure to enter your favorite homemade pie; our homemade pie contest has had some delicious winners. All contest winners will receive a prize.
During the evening please join in the Milk Drinking Contest and the Pie Eating Contest and we also have several guessing games along with a hidden “Golden Pumpkin” – come join the fun. Activity schedule and times will be posted by the front of the gym. We hope to see you there. For those of you who would like to just come to sit and enjoy the night, please feel free to bring your lawn chair or come enjoy the available Harvest seating.
