Hi everyone; it’s a brand-new year. I hope you all are enjoying the first few days of 2026.

It’s so easy to let our worries crowd our thoughts … let’s all try harder to leave our worries to our good Lord. Have faith; I know sometimes it’s very hard to do but let’s try to find the joy in each of our days. Happy New Year to all.

This week I would like to share a great event in Jett’s life. Many of you pray daily for this young man, 14-year-old Jett who is battling Osteosarcoma cancer.

Jett is amazing, he is loving and kind hearted … this young man deeply appreciates each one of you. Your prayers are very important to him as he undergoes his treatments and looks toward the future with great hope.

On December 28, at the invitation of 49er football player Nick Bosa, Jett was able to attend the 49er game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. What an exciting night; Bosa made sure Jett was comfortable in his club suite. The two became close buddies as they sat together, sharing high fives and the excitement of the game. For those of us at home watching the game on TV, we yelled, clapped and pointed to our TVs; there on the big screen at Levi’s Stadium for all the world to see was our young man Jett who is battling so bravely. He and Bosa were shown together on that huge screen. What an amazing sight. For a bit Jett was able to leave the hospital, leave the treatments, leave the worries behind him. What a beautiful evening; thank you to a very special player, Nick Bosa, and the amazing 49ers football team.
