A community meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4 at 6 p.m., hosted at the Knights Ferry Community Club for a presentation and discussion regarding the Stanislaus River Parks-Army Corps of Engineers Master Plan/Environmental Assessment Update draft.

The Knights Ferry MAC, Municipal Advisory Council, and the Knights Ferry History & Museum Associates have helped coordinate this meeting to ensure those in the local community and beyond are informed of the Corps’ plans for the future of area parks and the Stanislaus River.

The Corps is requesting online comments on the proposed update by July 6.

All interested residents throughout the region are encouraged to attend the June 4 meeting.
