SCOE Leadership Academy seeking new class members
Leadership

The Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) is now accepting applications for the Leadership Academy Program, Class of 2026-27.

Leadership Academy is an innovative program designed to develop the leadership potential of high school juniors and seniors in Stanislaus County. The program brings together youth with public and private community organizations to discuss and explore leadership through interactive tours, seminars, and workshops. Participants connect with peers and community leaders during full-day sessions to learn firsthand about emerging local issues and increase their awareness of career opportunities available within the county after high school or postsecondary training.

High school students who will be juniors or seniors for the upcoming school year are invited to apply and interview to be a part of the program. The Leadership Academy seeks to recruit a diverse cohort of students from Stanislaus County’s public and private schools who represent a variety of backgrounds and leadership experiences. Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA or higher and demonstrate both leadership potential and a genuine desire to serve their community.

For more information or to apply, go to SCOE’s Website, navigate to the Prevention Programs’ webpage (https://www.stancoe.org/districts/prevention-programs), and locate the Leadership Academy section.
