Area residents need not look any further than the Oakdale city limits for a little personal refresh. Be it by way of tending to some unwanted wrinkles, adding a little extra to one’s lips or an IV treatment for rejuvenation, RAW (Rich Aesthetics + Wellness) Beauty has exactly what you need.
A long-time aspiration for owner Adrienne Reichmuth, the registered nurse is over the moon about bringing her passion to the community.
First opening last August, Reichmuth shares space with the team of Vibes Lash Bar, at 1435 E. G St., Oakdale.
Reichmuth shared owning a business of this nature has long been a goal for her. Originally, she was working at a medical spa as a medical assistant, before she started nursing school. Inspired by her grandmother and aunt, who are veterans in the business, after years of nursing Reichmuth decided it was time.
“My grandma was very into this. I had an aunt, she lived in Vegas, she was very into this,” she said of her family working in the Med Spa business. “I just got to the point where I was like, why am I not chasing my official dream? What I’ve always wanted to do.”
So, when not working as an OB nurse, the beauty enthusiast began shadowing at medical spas, as well as attending classes to expand her knowledge and confidence.
“I’m growing little by little as much as I can. I’m learning more and more,” she said of her constant thirst for learning
Reichmuth chose Oakdale for her business, because it is home. She and her husband not only live here, but are also raising their family here. Being a part of the community as a business owner was important to her.
While external beauty and preservation of the skin is what drove her to the Med Spa business, she also offers the very popular IV infusions to help people with recovery and vitamin deficiency.
“You get 100 percent of all the vitamins that are getting absorbed into your body,” she said of the treatments. “Versus, if you take a pill, that has to go through your stomach, through your intestines, through your liver, through the digestive part of it, so you’re not getting all your vitamins. When it’s straight to the vein, you’re getting 100 percent of it.”
RAW Beauty offers a variety of different types of IV Therapy with a menu themed with some catchy Oakdale-inspired names.
While she prefers to administer the treatments in her place of business, she can be mobile and offers that on a case-by-case basis. IV Therapy can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the client’s needs.
The technician shared, she herself enjoys getting them, often times being the first to suggest it prior to traveling with friends.
“It makes you feel good. That’s why I wanted to bring it locally, it’s something that makes people feel good,” Reichmuth noted. “It’s fun to do. I book events too, bridal events, girls nights, guys nights. People in need of recovery from travel, all of it.”
For the client looking for a little refresh and addressing signs of aging, Botox can also be found at RAW Beauty. Services are offered for anything from top half of the face to lower half and the neck.
The Botox products used by Reichmuth will last each client three to four months.
For those looking for something other than Botox, chemical peels and microneedling are also options offered at RAW Beauty. Each brings its own set of long-term benefits for the resurfacing of the skin.
“It helps with the skin turnover. It also helps get rid of all that old skin and bring that new skin,” Reichmuth said of chemical peels. “It helps with your collagen production and kind of just gives you that radiant skin,”
With a bit more care and caution to keep the area sterile, the business owner shared microneedling is her favorite service to perform.
“We numb the face first,” she said. “Once it’s numb, we clean it really, really well. You want to have a really sterile field.”
From there, the process moves to the actual microneedling.
“The pen does all the poking. There’s tons of poking per second,” she continued of the procedure. “I’m running it across the face and doing three to four pass throughs in that one section. Then I move to the next section.”
Reichmuth shared that microneedling can be an alternative to Botox and can be done every four to six weeks.
“The more you do it and the more consistent you are with it, the more your skin is going to look better,” she said.
Clients are advised on proper recovery which can take between 24 and 48 hours.
Now with a handful of months under her belt, the beauty specialist shared she has really enjoyed getting to know her clients as well as the community. While she still works her ‘day job’ nursing, she’s excited to continue to grow her business and educate her clients.
“I think people when they hear Botox or filler, that you’re going to look crazy,” she said, chuckling. “I think people confuse Botox and filler a lot. I think the misconception is that people (i.e.: husbands) think they’re going to come out looking crazy. You can do such a natural approach to all of this, that’s what I’m here for and that’s what I want to do.”
Working with each client individually, she said that helps her get to know their individual optimum goals, focusing on building the relationship and earning their trust.
And while her business continues to gain clients and popularity, Reichmuth is taking a variety of classes to not just stay up to date, but to expand her overall knowledge.
“I take it very seriously. I want to make sure I’m educated,” she said. “I want to make sure I’m consistently talking to my mentor. Also, I want to make sure I’m bringing good products too.”

“I just love that I’m able to do it and meet so many people,” Reichmuth confided about the benefits of the business. “To help people feel good about themselves.”
