Morning Market continues drawing crowds downtown

Winding its way through a multi-month run, the Oakdale Morning Market has consistently brought crowds downtown each Saturday morning, building on its success week by week.

The first of the season market was on May 3 and it continues each Saturday through Sept. 27, offering up fresh in-season produce, homemade goods, crafts, plants, food trucks, music, art, young entrepreneurs selling their wares and more. Several shops lining North Third are also open for business during the market, which runs Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The July 12 event is scheduled to include the Decutler Band as the featured musician, R.K.B. Studio as Artist in Residence and ASTRO Foundation will be the featured non-profit. Taking over the kid’s corner to offer activities for youngsters will be Knights Ferry Elementary School District.
