Oakdale Police reported seizing a large amount of marijuana on Thursday, March 31.

Authorities said the marijuana was seized and off the streets “thanks to a vigilant community member.”

According to police, they received a report of a suspicious unoccupied vehicle in the 400 block of Church Avenue and officers responded to the scene. After investigating, officers determined the vehicle should be towed. They conducted a search of the vehicle prior to it being towed which revealed a large amount of marijuana, which was confiscated by police.
