Oak Summit Rainbow Assembly #128 is now official. The Assembly received their Charter from the Supreme Assembly in Oklahoma this last Wednesday. With an audience of about 75 people the girls, led by Worthy Advisor Madeline Freitas, performed beautiful ritual work. In attendance were Carol Griesner Davis and Bobbie Workman Crofts, both instrumental in the founding of the original Assembly in 1950. Look for the girls to be doing acts of service throughout the community.

The Community Club was decorated for Christmas with the new tree shining and tables gleaming with decorations. The array of food was awesome. Many community members came out to eat and hear the Oakdale High School Choir, led by Bryan Mills, sing Christmas songs. Soloists were Andy Palonzo, Jonathon Hintz and Wiley Taylor and Breanna Cordono. Sophie Jones played her alto saxophone to accompany a carol. Wylie Taylor’s little sister Rita had him wear her pink hat as he played his guitar! A Christmas sing-a-long ended the program. Club President Linda Morris presented the choir with a check for $100.
