There was a river rescue Saturday. Linda at the River’s Edge saw oars, ice chest and other things floating by, then came a man and boy hollering for help. Everyone rushed to help them ashore but the wife and two children were hung up in a tree. It was a no fire personnel day and it was 45 minutes before they were rescued. Thankfully no one was hurt.
