The Dollings have an interesting story. Fred was going out his gate when he spotted something lying in the road. Upon closer inspection he found a dead eagle! He called Lisa at the Army Corp and she sent a Fish and Game person. Looking the bird over, he found burn marks; the eagle had flown into the power lines. They turned the bird over to Fish and Wildlife and they will see that Indian tribes will receive the feathers, as Indians are the only people allowed to have eagle feathers. Fish and Wildlife are going to look at the power lines to see if they are too close together for birds. Fred said the eagle was beautiful!

A partly true alert has been circulating about 90#. If you have to press 9 to reach an outside line, and someone calls saying they are from the phone company and want you to press 90# and hang up, that can leave your line open for anyone to access to call anywhere on your nickel! This only works on lines that have to dial 9 for an outside line.
