At the meeting of the Museum and History Associates of Miller’s Hall, Heather Wright from the Army Corp, presented the colors that they would like to paint the end caps of the Covered Bridge. The colors were in keeping with the historical image and were approved. The date for the annual Peddlers Faire was set for April 28, 2013.

There will be a flu clinic at Miller’s Hall in September. Watch for the fliers on date and time.

This August is your reporter’s 13th year as newsperson. Thirteen years ago the Ulrich family had a reunion with about 100 relatives. Also, Kyle Hauskens celebrated her 5th birthday at Opah and Grammie McCarthy’s house. Knights Ferry School opened on August 30, 1999 with 140 students (today they opened with 102 students). It is interesting to look back at the old columns.
