The Oakdale Fire Protection District will conduct a total of three meetings on August 13 beginning at 4pm. The first special meeting is a closed session meeting beginning at 4pm. The second special meeting will immediately follow at 5pm and will allow for public comment before they welcome new board director Eric Feichter and begin a strategic planning board workshop. The final regularly scheduled meeting will begin at 6pm with public comment before the board completes the agenda of discussion and/or action items. If you do not live in city limits, this is your fire district!

The Odd Fellows and friends of Eric Ulrich have decided to postpone the benefit dinner to be held in his honor on August 29th. The new date will be announced as soon as it has been decided. Those who have already purchased tickets may keep them for the newly scheduled date or request a refund. Please contact Fred at 209-743-3461 if you would like a refund.

Eric has begun his new treatment and must remain in the hospital for a few weeks. If you would like to send a card, please give them to Dolly Haskell and she will pass them along to the family until she gets a mailing address. My thoughts and prayers are with Eric and family at this time!
