The Odd Fellows will host their monthly community potluck on Wednesday, July 23 at 6pm. This month’s theme is “Breakfast for Dinner”, and the menu includes ham, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and hotcakes. The monthly potlucks are always free of charge and part of their mission to bring the community together. Everyone in the community, Odd Fellow or not, is encouraged to attend. Feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share.
The International Order of Odd Fellows, or IOOF, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to the local community. Every dollar raised, after covering event expenses, is reinvested directly into a variety of community programs. These include awarding two annual scholarships to local high school students and providing direct donations to teachers at Knights Ferry Elementary School. The IOOF also helps fund youth camps and offers ongoing support for local seniors. The Odd Fellows also host a monthly community breakfast on the first Sunday of each month. One dollar from every breakfast served goes directly into their scholarship fund.
