We are back from our trip to attend a wedding and see a few National Parks. Jason and I traveled to Canada and enjoyed a few days in Banff where we were in awe of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake! Other highlights of our trip included Yellowstone and the Space Needle. It was a great adventure but we are happy to be home with our dogs!

Last week Knights Ferry had a fire near the south side of the bridge but it was quickly extinguished thanks to our fast-acting local fire department. Though the cause is unknown, it was a wake-up call just how quickly a situation can turn dangerous!

Earlier in the month we had the Freedom Picnic at the Community Club and it was very well attended! The tables were nicely decorated and the community really came out and enjoyed the evening.

Don’t forget the Community Club is planning their 100-year birthday celebration and they are looking for bands. Please contact Chris Peterson at 209-402-9831 if you know of a band that might be interested.
