The Civil War Reenactments are coming to town this weekend, March 25th-26th! The American Civil War Association volunteers will come to town on Friday afternoon and camp in the river park area in canvas tents and authentic clothing. Bring the family to the park and tour the camps! The reenactors enjoy answering questions and sharing their knowledge of Civil War history. The Odd Fellows Canton #2 will be serving their traditional pancake breakfast BOTH Saturday and Sunday from 7am-11am. For only $8 a person, they serve a large serving of pancakes, eggs, ham, juice, and hot coffee. And don’t forget to come to the Community Club for their annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on Saturday night, it is $10 per ticket and will include a spaghetti meal, dessert, and beverage!

The Miller’s Hall building is pleased to announce local artist, Taylar Mason as their new tenant. She will have a variety of arts, crafts, and souvenirs for purchases and conducting various craft classes for all ages. She plans to open her doors to the public on April 1st and April 2nd.

Please continue to spread the word that large vehicles or trucks and trailers should not travel through Knights Ferry on Saturday, April 1st from 6am-3pm. Traffic is detoured around the main road in Knights Ferry due to the Car Show. Traffic will detour down a one-way narrow road with sharp turns. Expect traffic delays and please be patient with the traffic control volunteers!
