Registration is now open for Knights Ferry’s “Little School on the Hill.” Knights Ferry Elementary offers full-day Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade classes, a school farm and garden as well as art and music classes for all grades. Speaking of KFS, I am very excited to present the following update brought to you by The Bobcat Times, Knights Ferry School’s Student Newspaper Club.
“Knights Ferry Elementary School has an amazing student body, with an after school program, gardening program, music class, and student council. Our little school on the hill has delightful teachers and charming kids. Our new principal Mrs. Lindsey Moore is fantastic at taking care of our school community. All of our students work hard especially at their reading and math goals. Our Parent Teacher Club does a great job raising money for our field trips, incentives, and other fun activities. This past month, we celebrated our 100th Day of School by dressing up like elderly folk and doing fun projects that all focused on the number 100! We also participated in the Great Kindness Challenge by making gifts or doing thoughtful things for students and staff on campus. Our school has been very busy! We are looking forward to our Valentine’s Day festivities coming up. Thank you for reading this update on Knights Ferry Elementary School. We look forward to keeping you updated in the future.”
