The school’s annual Christmas program was a wonderful show! The school held a matinee showing in the Community Club and an evening performance in Oakdale at the Bianchi Center. The school is growing and holding the performance in Oakdale allowed everyone to attend the evening showing. The Kindergarten through sixth graders sang songs and the Jr. High class did a play titled “Tech or No Tech”. The classes choose mostly traditional songs like “Grandma got run over by a reindeer” and “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth”. Jr. High class’s play was a great show about Santa’s helpers trying to incorporate technology into the holiday season. Everyone did a great job on the program!
On the last day of school, each classroom had their own Christmas party planned by the room parents and teachers. The fourth grade room mom, Sonia Conde even dressed up as the Grinch!

There was a fantastic group Christmas caroling around town last week! They even paraded into the River’s Edge to sing carols to everyone dining in the restaurant. Thank you, Kim McCarthy for keeping this holiday tradition alive!

You may have noticed that the Creamery has closed for a few weeks so the family can spend the holidays with their loved ones! They will be open again sometime mid-January.

Don’t forget to come down to Main Street in Knights Ferry on New Year’s Day for Benny’s parade in lieu of the Christmas in Knights Ferry parade. They plan to get started around 12pm! If you would like more information, please contact Benny Cassinetto.
