Knights Ferry School hosts an Angel Tree program to help local families during the holidays. The Angel Tree has been relocated to the Miller’s Hall Library (behind the Knights Ferry Creamery) and there are still tags for families in need for this Christmas. Time is running out as the tree will be available until today, Wednesday, December 18th! If you are interested in helping a local family, stop by grab a tag with items the family has requested and then bring wrapped gift donations to either Miller’s Hall or the Knights Ferry Community Church by 4pm on Saturday, December 21st! Congratulations to the Knights Ferry Bobcats! They earned two soccer game wins against Gratton Elementary! The school is grateful for all the parental and staff participation in game days. Michelle Patton did a great job refereeing both games for the school.
The students are getting very excited for the holiday break! This week, the whole school is invited to a pancake breakfast at the Odd Fellows lodge and they are practicing for their annual school Christmas program. The Christmas program will be Thursday, December 19th. The community is invited to attend the 10:30am matinee performance at the Knights Ferry Community Club. The school has decided to move the evening performance to the Bianchi Center in Oakdale to accommodate the growing number of students and their families.

Kim McCarthy is planning her annual Christmas caroling around town on Friday, December 20th at 6:30pm. Everyone is invited to meet in front of her house at 6:30pm. Please let Kim know if you’d like the carolers to stop by your house to sing!

Benny Cassinetto is planning to have a New Year’s Day parade through town around noon. Be sure to get your golf carts and buggies decorated if you want to join in the fun!
