Carmen Frymire is so thankful for the fire departments, air tankers, helicopter, sheriff, friends, neighbors and family for their response to the fire on Frymire Hill and the river bottom. It was a very scary experience and she is thankful for the close-knit town turning out to help.

Condolences go out to the Russell family on the sudden death of Ryan Russell. Ryan’s brother Randy teaches the Junior High at Knights Ferry School and he is married to Amanda Wright (Randy Mandy Band). Ryan also was a great musician.

Congratulations to Kim McCarthy on getting her Masters in Education Best Practices. Kim is the Kindergarten teacher at Knights Ferry School.

Every Tuesday night at the General Store Deli and Saloon will be Taco Night, cooked by Amy and served taco truck style.

At the Knights Ferry Community Club meeting the new park hosts at Orange Blossom Park were introduced - Sid and Donna Lindsey. They are enjoying our area. A flu clinic will be held in the Ferry at the September breakfast, also that is the day of the town yard sale, call the number on the Odd Fellows Hall for free space. The club will get a new front door. Town cleanup is October 15 with potluck lunch.

Welcome to the area Jessica and Chris Esteves and children Seth, Trent, Joseph and Violet. They brought the boys to Knights Ferry School from Oakdale until they could find a home in the area.
