Holistic Life Institute announces grant opportunity
HLI

The Holistic Life Institute is offering a new grant and scholarship opportunity, available through Feb. 28, according to program officials.

The Riverbank-based institute provides training in bodywork modalities that do not require disrobing. Techniques include Reiki, Cranial Sacral Balancing, Shiatsu, chair massage, acupressure, reflexology, sound healing, needle-less acupuncture and the Aromatouch Technique. The institute states these modalities are intended to provide therapeutic relief for pain, inflammation, neuropathy, muscle aches and stiffness.

The grant and scholarship apply to the institute’s 250-hour Acupressure/Reflexology Program. The program also includes holistic health advisor training in herbs, essential oils, flower essences, Ayurvedic medicine, Emotional Freedom Technique and basic nutrition education focused on whole-body wellness.

Classes are offered on weekdays, evenings and weekends to accommodate varying schedules.
