The local Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop in Oakdale will host a fundraiser for the family of seven-year-old Drayden Drake on Wednesday, Sept. 2 to help offset funeral costs.
For the entire day, 30 percent of the entire day’s sales, along with 100 percent of donations will go to the family as they weather the challenges and expenses of losing their young son in a tragic car accident on Aug. 23. In addition to losing Drayden, the family’s two younger children also suffered major injuries in the crash.
A Give In Kind page has been set up in the name of the Drake family to help during this devastating time as well. Donors can offer meals, donations, flowers, and any help they can offer at this time. Currently, dinner and groceries are the most requested and claimed items.
Mr. Pickle’s is located at 1342 E. F St., Ste. B in Oakdale.
