Enjoy Series Of Christmas Performances At Gallo Center

Musician Jake Shimabukuro will bring joy to the Gallo Center this holiday season by delivering a special gift for all with the debut of his highly anticipated Christmas show.

Ukulele master and jolly ambassador of aloha, Jake Shimabukuro, will bring joy to the Gallo Center this holiday season by delivering a special gift for all with the debut of his highly anticipated Christmas show. His beloved home of Hawaii is at the forefront of Jake Shimabukuro - Christmas in Hawai’i, a warm welcome of merriment and wonder for Christmas.

This special holiday program is scheduled at Gallo Center for the Arts, 1000 I St., Modesto, on Wednesday, Dec., 20 at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to including Shimabukuro’s signature song favorites, this show will draw on a vibrant catalog of holiday classics such as “We Three Kings,” “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “O Holy Night,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” plus selections from his Jake & Friends album featuring Willie Nelson, Bette Midler, Jack Johnson, Michael McDonald, Vince Gill and Amy Grant, and more. Shimabukuro will be joined for this performance by bassist Jackson Waldhoff and special guest singer-songwriter Justin Kawika Young.

In addition, local residents can enjoy the performance of Stockton’s own Chris Isaak, with a show at the Gallo on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m.; and the Nochebuena Christmas Spectacular scheduled for Friday, Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
