A total of over 10,000 pounds of canned goods were collected by the student body of Oakdale Junior High for the Third Annual Community Sharing Canned Food drive. The event was hosted on campus over the course of four days and then delivered to the facility. The Junior High students not only helped collect the items but then also loaded up a school bus of donated canned goods to be delivered to Oakdale’s Community Sharing. This is the third year the school has hosted the event in partnership with the local group which helps those in need.
