Coming up the first Saturday in April, all are welcome to attend the festive Easter at the Barn event being hosted at Lorina’s Edible Garden, 17397 Enterprise Road, Escalon.

The Easter event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the barn shop will be open featuring spring plants and gifts, vegetables, herbs and succulents while there will also be a number of special vendors on site as well. The free egg hunt for kids gets underway at 1 p.m. and pony rides will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration for the egg hunt starts at 10 a.m.; Lorina’s is currently accepting donations of plastic eggs, candy and toys for the ‘Golden Egg’ prizes. Those wishing to donate are asked to drop them off at the Barn before Wednesday, April 1 at 3 p.m.

Lorina’s Edible Garden is now open weekly, on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a number of special events also on the calendar over the next few months.

The Mother’s Day Celebration will be on May 9, with Cars at the Barn on June 27. A Summer Party is being planned, with that date to be announced.
