Motorists traveling through Oakdale will have to detour around the main intersection for a portion of this week. The California Department of Transportation, Caltrans, is performing the closure of State Route 108/120 from Yosemite Avenue to North Sierra Avenue so the Union Pacific Railroad can make repairs to their tracks that run between those two avenues. The highway is scheduled to be closed through 10 a.m. on Friday, July 12 and there will be no access through the location during the project. The railroad crossing is just to the east of the main Yosemite/F Street intersection in the heart of downtown Oakdale.
