Oakdale police will join community residents in observing National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 2. A communitywide event is set at Burchell Hill Park, starting at 5:30 p.m. and will include a variety of booths, activities, food and fun. National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.
