A long-time family favorite returns as Oakdale’s Halloween Parade and Festival takes over downtown on Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The fun begins with the annual parade, which starts at the Youth Building, 297 Gilbert Ave., next to Oakdale High School. Participants should assemble at 4:45 p.m., with the parade stepping off at 5 p.m.

Costumed children, community groups, and local organizations are all invited to take part in the spirited march through town.

After the parade, families can stop in at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., where the Halloween Festival will offer games, treats, and seasonal activities for all ages. The event provides a safe, family-friendly way for the community to celebrate together, with plenty of opportunities for photos, laughter, and a little spooky fun.

Organizers encourage residents to bring their festive spirit as Oakdale continues a cherished local tradition that brings neighbors together each Halloween night.
