CHRISTMAS UP

A sign of the season, it was the annual Cowboy Christmas put on by the Oakdale Cowboy Museum and staged both inside the Bianchi Community Center and outdoors in the Oakdale Town Plaza over the weekend. Many of the booths set up inside on Friday evening and Saturday, Nov. 24 and 25, focused mainly on the cowboy theme, with artwork, decorations, woodwork and more while a special visitor on Saturday was Cowboy Santa. He posed for photos and visited with youngsters, here taking a moment to listen to the holiday wishes of Remi Furtado, 4, of Oakdale. Additional booths for shoppers in the plaza on Saturday offered a wide variety of items from jewelry to soaps, gems to toys.
