In a recent study focusing on the best and worst school systems across the country, Massachusetts took the top spot and New Mexico finished last, with California ranking at number 30 overall.
Making the top five were Massachusetts at number one, followed by Connecticut, New Jersey, Virginia and New Hampshire.
